Aina Rutō
Description
Aina Rutō is a Japanese voice actress who began her career after winning a publicly held audition in 2019. The audition, titled "What Sei You," was a collaborative project between the voice actor agency 81 Produce and the animation studio Shin-Ei Animation. Rutō was one of four winners selected from a pool of 84 aspiring voice actresses during a final round held on March 31, 2020.
This audition directly led to her first major role and professional debut in the original television anime series Idolls!, which premiered in January 2021. In the series, a full 3D CGI production about girls striving to become idols, she voices the character Aina, a serious and kind-hearted peacemaker from Hyogo Prefecture. Her performance is intrinsically linked to the project, as she and her three fellow debutantes—Ami Mizuno, Shiori Hanaoka, and Ruka Yashiro—were cast as the four leads. Beyond voicing the characters, the four main cast members also performed the anime's opening theme song, We Are The One!, and its ending theme song, Yumemite Samete mo.
Following her debut, Rutō has taken on additional minor voice roles. She is credited in the 2024 anime series Narenare -Cheer for You-, providing voices for several unnamed background characters including a high school cheerleading club member and a classmate. Information regarding recurring collaborations with specific directors or other actors, as well as other notable achievements, is not readily available in the public record.
