Sonny Byrkett is the credited name for the voice acting work of performer Marvyn Byrkett in English-language dubs of anime during the late 1980s and early 1990s. His career in anime voice acting is primarily associated with projects dubbed in the United States during this period.

One of his most notable roles is providing the voice for Atsushi Murakami, the father in the Murakami family, in the 1993 original video animation adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Ambassador Magma. This thirteen-episode OVA series was released in North America on VHS by L.A. Hero, Inc.. In this production, he worked alongside other voice actors such as Steve Blum, Jonathan Fahn, and Debra Jean Rogers.

Byrkett also contributed to the English adaptation of another science fiction OVA from the same era, Black Magic M-66, which was released in 1987.
