Description
Kasey Buckley is an American voice actor known for their work in English-language dubs of anime series, primarily during the 1990s and 2000s. Their most prominent and frequently cited role is providing the voice of Shizuru Kuwabara, the older sister of Kazuma Kuwabara, in the Funimation English adaptation of the popular anime series Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files. Beyond this signature role, Buckley contributed voices to several other major anime franchises produced during the early era of English dubbing. They have extensive credits in the Dragon Ball series, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. In these series, Buckley voiced a variety of minor characters and background figures, such as Colonel Violet in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Movie 4: The Path to Power, as well as numerous other roles like Girlfriend, a Farmer's Wife, and a Woman Spectator.

Buckley's filmography also includes roles in other notable series. They voiced Elena in the science fiction anime Blue Gender. In the first Fruits Basket anime series, they provided voices for several minor characters, including Mio Yamagishi and various background students. Their body of work is characterized by a high volume of uncredited or minor roles, often listed as additional voices or walla (background voice) work, which was common practice for voice actors in the industry at the time.
