Ulrike Hübschmann is a German actress and voice artist, born in Potsdam in 1963. She studied at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Rostock and Berlin from 1982 to 1986. Following her training, she built a career on stage and in film and television, appearing in productions such as Polizeiruf 110, Tatort, and SOKO Wismar.

Since 2006, Hübschmann has focused extensively on work in recording studios. Her voice acting career encompasses a wide range of fields, including audiobooks, radio plays, documentaries, and dubbing for film and television. In the realm of anime, she is known for her work on the German-language version of the 2010 film Welcome to the SPACE SHOW. In this production, she lent her voice to two characters: Hanako and Mitsuru Satou.

Beyond animation, Hübschmann's voice work has received significant recognition. She has recorded over 140 audiobooks for major publishers. Her narration for audio descriptions in films has been particularly acclaimed. She was the speaker for the audio description of the film 45 Years, which won the German Audio Film Award in 2016. She received this same award again in 2022 for another audio description and once more in 2024.
