Masashi Kitamura is a Japanese voice actor born on May 8, 1977, in Fukui Prefecture. He began his career in the early 2000s after graduating from the Office Kaoru affiliated voice actor training school as part of its sixth generation. He is affiliated with the talent agency Office Kaoru.
Kitamura has built a career with a variety of roles in anime television series, video games, and dubbing work for foreign films and television dramas. In anime, his roles include Detective Naoki Saginoya in the 2007 series Yattokame Tanteidan. He also had guest roles in long-running and popular series such as Atashin'chi, Crayon Shin-chan, and Nintama Rantaro. In the 2010s, he appeared in Detective Conan, voicing the characters Seiya Kataoka in 2014 and Teshima Hisashi in 2016.
