Masashi Kitamura is a Japanese voice actor born on May 8, 1977, in Fukui Prefecture. He began his career in the early 2000s after graduating from the Office Kaoru affiliated voice actor training school as part of its sixth generation. He is affiliated with the talent agency Office Kaoru.

Kitamura has built a career with a variety of roles in anime television series, video games, and dubbing work for foreign films and television dramas. In anime, his roles include Detective Naoki Saginoya in the 2007 series Yattokame Tanteidan. He also had guest roles in long-running and popular series such as Atashin'chi, Crayon Shin-chan, and Nintama Rantaro. In the 2010s, he appeared in Detective Conan, voicing the characters Seiya Kataoka in 2014 and Teshima Hisashi in 2016.

His filmography also extends to OVA productions and animated films. He had a role in the 2007 feature film Kappa no Ku to Natsuyasumi, and in 2010, he voiced a high school boy in the OVA Detective Conan Magic File 4: Osaka Okonomiyaki Odyssey.

A significant portion of Kitamura's work is in voice dubbing for foreign content. His dubbing credits for live-action films include providing the voice for Kenny Ascott, played by Gabriel Mann, in the home video dub of Cherry Falls. Other film dubbing work includes roles in Anatomy 2, Freaky Friday, Little Dancer, and The Seventh Day. He has also contributed to the Japanese dubs of television series such as Andromeda, Lizzie & Lizzie, and the animated shows Spider-Man and Teen Titans.

Beyond acting, Kitamura possesses a range of skills and qualifications. He is a certified class C swimming instructor and also holds a qualification as a bicycle mechanic. His other hobbies and interests include playing the transverse flute, do-it-yourself projects, and watching sumo wrestling. He is also able to speak the Kansai dialect.
