Stephanie Beard, also known professionally as Sugar Lyn Beard, is a Canadian actress and voice actor recognized for her distinctive high-pitched and energetic vocal performances in animated series and films. Born Stephanie Lyn Beard in Scarborough, Ontario, her career in entertainment began in radio, where she created the popular persona Suga BayBee for the Toronto radio station KISS 92.5. This character's unique voice led to her first major foray into voice acting.

Her early and most notable work in anime dubbing came in 2000 when she provided the English voice for the character Serenity "Rini" Tsukino, also known as Sailor Mini Moon, in the Cloverway adaptation of the highly popular series Sailor Moon, a role she performed for 77 episodes. This performance established her within the anime community and led to further work in the genre. From 2001 to 2007, she became a familiar face to Canadian audiences as the host of The Zone, an afternoon children's programming block on the YTV network, where she was known simply as Sugar. During this period, she continued to build an extensive list of voice credits for numerous animated series.

Her voice work includes a wide variety of roles in both anime and Western animation. Beyond her iconic role in Sailor Moon, she voiced Ming Ming in Beyblade and Olena Octopus in The Save-Ums!. In the 2006 anime series Spider Riders, a Japanese-Canadian co-production, she voiced the character Hotarla, a role credited under her birth name Stephanie Beard. Her other notable animated roles include Kara in Di-Gata Defenders, Tami in The Amazing Spiez!, Nancy the Nanosaurus in Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, and Wish Bear in the Care Bears films Journey to Joke-a-lot and The Big Wish Movie. She also voiced characters in series such as Captain Flamingo, Atomic Betty, and Cyberchase.

In 2007, Beard relocated to Los Angeles to pursue further acting opportunities, which led to a combination of voice and on-screen roles in film and television. Her later career includes voice performances in the animated features Sausage Party as Baby Carrots and Cookies, and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie as the Goodie Two-Shoes Girl. She also appeared in live-action roles, including a recurring part as Becky Sharpe, also known as Hazard, in the superhero series The Flash, and roles in films such as 50/50, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and The Disaster Artist.
