Aoi Yabusaki is the birth name of a prominent Japanese voice actress, singer, and former child actor, who is professionally known as Aoi Yūki. She was born on March 27, 1992, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Yabusaki began her entertainment career at the age of four as a child actor, appearing in television dramas and variety shows. She made her debut as a voice actor in 2003, while still in elementary school, providing a voice for the anime Kino's Journey.
Her early voice roles include the character Koto Yumeno in the anime series Onegai My Melody. Casting records confirm she voiced Koto Yumeno in the third season of the show, titled Onegai My Melody Sukkiri♪, which aired from 2007 to 2008, as well as in earlier seasons. This was one of her regular roles in the early phase of her voice acting career.
