Christian Tramitz is a German actor and voice artist, born in Munich on 13 July 1955. Before pursuing an acting career, he studied art history, philosophy, and theatre, and also took acting and violin lessons. He began his media career in radio, which led to television and his widespread recognition as a comedian on the show Bullyparade. Alongside his on-camera work, Tramitz has maintained an extensive career as a voice actor since the 1980s.

In the realm of anime and animation, Tramitz is known for providing the German voice for several prominent characters. He voiced the wizard Fujimoto in the German dubbing of the Studio Ghibli film Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Another notable anime role was Colt in the series Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. His voice work, however, extends far beyond anime. He has dubbed numerous live-action actors, including Matt Dillon and Jackie Chan. He is also the German voice of the clownfish Marlin in Finding Nemo, Chick Hicks in Cars, and the narrator (Old Ted) in How I Met Your Mother. His voice is featured in a wide range of productions, from The Simpsons, where he dubs Sideshow Bob, to the title character in Bolt.
