Gen Kurosaki

Gen Kurosaki is a Japanese creator known primarily for his work in character design and illustration for children's media. He is credited as the original creator of the anime television series Robby & Kerobby. His professional background includes work in corporate advertising, toy design, and the creation of characters for various television anime.

Kurosaki was born in 1966 and is a graduate of the Design Faculty at Kyoto Seika University. His career began in the early 1990s, with early projects including character creation for the publication Tammy's Club in 1992 and the magazine Kirei ni Naritai in 1995. During the late 1990s, he worked on character creation and cover illustrations for TV Zaurus in 1997, followed by similar work for the travel guide series Rurubu Japan in 1998.

His body of work extends beyond anime to encompass a range of illustrated media. Kurosaki has been involved in creating illustrations for picture books, children's books, textbooks, and game picture books, with a noted specialty in characters and illustrations aimed at younger audiences.
