Perreca's involvement in anime voice acting has led to collaborations with other English voice actors, including Bill Rogers and Michelle Knotz, with whom he was a guest at the Castle Point Anime Convention in 2010. However, his primary career achievements lie outside of voice acting. He has had a long and distinguished career in the theater, working as a director and performer Off Broadway and at various regional theaters across the United States. His leadership roles have included serving as the artistic director of the Bristol Valley Theater in New York and as producing director for the Barrington Stage Company in Massachusetts.

In addition to his theater work, Perreca has been active as an educator, holding a position as an Adjunct Lecturer at the City University of New York-Brooklyn College and serving as a musical theatre performance director and instructor at the Lee Strasberg Institute/NYU. He has also worked extensively as a creative director and writer for large-scale fundraising events and held editorial positions at magazines such as Network Computing and Food & Beverage Marketing earlier in his career.
