Megumi Kobayashi is the former stage name of Megu Ashiro, a Japanese voice actress born on August 10, 1978. Originally from Yamagata Prefecture, she began her career under the name Megumi Kobayashi and was affiliated with the talent agency TAB Production. Over the course of her career, she has also worked with Theatre Company Susin and AIR AGENCY, and became a freelancer in 2020.
Her body of work primarily consists of roles in anime television series and video games from the early 2000s onward. In anime, she is known for her role as Kimi Ninomiya in the 2004 Gainax series This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. Her other notable anime roles from this period include Yuno Kawakami in _summer, Clara in Monster, and a role in the series Seven of Seven. Later anime credits include minor roles in series such as Rewrite and ALL OUT!!.
