Mio Nonose is the stage name of a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, Japan, who is also widely known by her primary alias, Mia Naruse. She was born on February 11. Her early life included a significant period abroad; as a child, she attended a Japanese school in Caracas, Venezuela, for approximately four years. She is a graduate of the Salesian Polytechnic institute, formerly known as Yomiuri Engineering College, where she was a member of the astronomy club.

Her career in voice acting has been marked by a period of hiatus and subsequent return. In late April 2010, she announced her retirement from voice acting. However, she later resumed her career, announcing her return via her blog in mid-April 2013.

Throughout her career, Nonose has been credited under numerous names, a common practice for voice actors who work in both general audience and adult-oriented media. Besides her two primary names, her other pseudonyms include Saya Hirayama, Mei Tsuchimoe, Neneko Inoue, and several others.

Nonose has built a substantial portfolio of roles in anime television series and original video animations. In the OAV series _Summer, she voiced the character Hinako Nanao. She is also known for her role as the cleaning-obsessed lunar servant Mia Clementis in the television anime Brighter than the Dawning Blue. Her other notable anime roles include Ennea in Demonbane, Anri Hiiragi in Happiness!, Otoha in H2O: Footprints in the Sand, and Neko Yamaga in In Search of the Lost Future.

Her voice work extends significantly into the realm of video games and visual novels. She is the voice of Azuki in the popular Nekopara series across its various OVA and game adaptations. Other prominent game roles include Airi Momose in Clover Heart's: Looking for Happiness and Rinoa in Moekan.

In addition to her voice acting, Nonose contributes as a visual artist, providing SD (super deformed) character illustrations for video games. Her artistic skills were also utilized in the production of the 2023 television series 16bit Sensation: Another Layer, where she is credited with illustration assistance and production under her Mia Naruse name.

In a move reflecting the evolving landscape of entertainment, she debuted as a virtual YouTuber under the name Miazo in December 2018. As Miazo, she formed a unit called Miatami with fellow voice actor Tomoe Tamiyasu, known as Tammy. The partnership continued until its dissolution in January 2021.
