Mio Nonose is the stage name of a Japanese voice actress from Tokyo, Japan, who is also widely known by her primary alias, Mia Naruse. She was born on February 11. Her early life included a significant period abroad; as a child, she attended a Japanese school in Caracas, Venezuela, for approximately four years. She is a graduate of the Salesian Polytechnic institute, formerly known as Yomiuri Engineering College, where she was a member of the astronomy club.
Her career in voice acting has been marked by a period of hiatus and subsequent return. In late April 2010, she announced her retirement from voice acting. However, she later resumed her career, announcing her return via her blog in mid-April 2013.
Throughout her career, Nonose has been credited under numerous names, a common practice for voice actors who work in both general audience and adult-oriented media. Besides her two primary names, her other pseudonyms include Saya Hirayama, Mei Tsuchimoe, Neneko Inoue, and several others.
