Sean Reyes

Description
Sean Reyes is an American voice actor best known for his long-running work on the English-language adaptation of the Pokémon anime series. He is also credited professionally under the names Sean Kenin and Sean Rey. Born on October 7th, Reyes began voicing characters in the Pokémon franchise starting with the ninth season and the film Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. He is based in New York City and is represented by both KMR Talent and SBV Talent agencies.

Reyes's most prominent and enduring role in the series is that of Professor Rowan, the Pokémon Professor in the Sinnoh region, a character he began voicing in the Diamond & Pearl series. He has also provided the voice for other significant recurring human characters, most notably Wallace, the Hoenn League Champion and later Sootopolis City Gym Leader. His other credited human roles include Kellyn, one of the main characters from the Pokémon Ranger games, and the young trainer Ian.

In addition to his work on human characters, Reyes has frequently voiced various Pokémon. He is a primary voice actor for the Pokémon Chatot and has voiced multiple individual characters of that species, including those belonging to Officer Jenny and the Phantom. He has also consistently voiced the Ice-type Pokémon Glalie, including Ash Ketchum's Glalie in later series such as Pokémon Journeys. His other video game work includes voicing Chatot and Glalie in PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure.

A notable aspect of Reyes's career is his recurring collaboration with fellow voice actor Julián Rebolledo. Together, they co-founded Hyperbolic Audio, a dubbing and recording studio in New York City. Prior to Hyperbolic Audio, they also co-owned a studio called Shut Up and Talk. Outside of the Pokémon franchise, Reyes has voiced characters in other animated projects, including the television series Family Guy, Sadamitsu the Destroyer, and Midori Days, often using the alias Sean Kenin for work with Fox Television Animation.
