Greg Abbey is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime series, particularly for his long-standing association with 4Kids Entertainment and NYAV Post. He is also known professionally under the alias Frank Frankson.
Abbey studied acting at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, training under teachers such as Bill Esper. Following his education, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting and voice-over. His career in voice acting began in the late 1990s, with early roles in dubs for Central Park Media, such as in Revolutionary Girl Utena and Slayers NEXT.
He became a prominent figure at 4Kids Entertainment during the 2000s, where he voiced leading characters in several high-profile series. His most iconic role from this period is Tristan Taylor in the immensely popular Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, a part he began playing from episode 11 onward and reprised in subsequent films like Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions. He later took on the lead role of Yusei Fudo in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds. Another significant role during his time at 4Kids was voicing Raphael in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, for which he used the alias Frank Frankson.
