Michal Friedman was an American voice actress and singer-songwriter, also known professionally as Michal the Girl, who contributed to several English-language adaptations of anime series in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Her career in voice acting included a range of roles in both anime and other animated productions. In anime, she was known for providing the voice for the cute version of the character Paya in the English dub of the magical girl comedy series Magical Witch Punie-chan. This role placed her alongside her husband, fellow voice actor Dan Green, who voiced Paya's dark form in the same series. Her other significant anime credits included the role of Esther in the Mobile Suit Gundam UC OVA series and the character Seisei in Samurai Deeper Kyo, a credit listed under the name Michal Meadows. She also voiced various background characters in the anime series The Gokusen.

Beyond anime, Friedman's voice work extended to other animated projects. She voiced the character Annalise in the series Speed Racer: The Next Generation and was the voice of Tune in the 4Kids Entertainment adaptation of Winx Club. Her portfolio also included work in motion comics, such as voicing Tildie Soames and the Stepford Cuckoos in Astonishing X-Men: Gifted.
