Michael Narloch was a German actor and voice actor, born in Berlin on January 24, 1944. He began his career as a stage and screen actor, appearing in numerous East German television productions, including multiple episodes of the popular crime series Polizeiruf 110. Following 1990, he focused primarily on voice acting, becoming a prolific figure in German dubbing.
In the realm of animation, Narloch provided the German voice for the character Agashi in the 2006 anime film Origin: Spirits of the Past, directed by Keiichi Sugiyama. He voiced the role for the Japanese actor Ren Ōsugi. This was one of over 470 voice roles he performed in films and television series throughout his career.
Narloch's extensive voice work was not limited to animation. He was particularly active in dubbing numerous live-action films and television series. He was known for being one of the German voices of the actor Jeremy Brett in his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, specifically in the 1987 film The Sign of Four. He also voiced David Warner in the 1992 film The Lost World and John Bluthal in The Fifth Element.
