Benedetta Laura is an Italian singer, actress, and voice actor known for her work in the Italian dubbing of animated series, particularly in the 1990s. Her professional background is rooted in theatre; she is a graduate of the Bottega Teatrale di Vittorio Gassman and furthered her acting studies with renowned international figures such as Jeanne Moreau, Adolfo Celi, and, notably in Japan, with director Tadashi Suzuki. Her training also includes tip-tap and flamenco dance. In the field of voice acting, Benedetta Laura is recognized for contributing to the Italian-language versions of anime. A notable role is her portrayal of the evil sorceress Dynaster in the Italian dub of the original video animation (OVA) Princess Minerva, which was released on VHS by Yamato Video. The Italian adaptation was produced by D.D.E. in Milan under the direction of Sergio Masieri. Beyond her voice acting, Benedetta Laura is also active as a theatre performer and has worked as an acting teacher at the Centro Teatro Attivo in Milan, and has released a music CD titled Ho chiuso gli occhi.
