Susanne von Medvey is a German actress and voice artist, born in 1961. She received her acting training at the Kölner Schule des Theaters in Cologne. Her career encompasses both on-screen performances in film and television as well as an extensive body of work in voice acting, where she has provided the German voice for numerous international actors and animated characters.

In the realm of anime and animation, von Medvey has contributed her voice to several notable productions. She voiced the character Kumo in the German dubbed version of the Studio Ghibli film Tales from Earthsea (Die Chroniken von Erdsee) in 2006. Her other anime voice roles include the mother in Only Yesterday (Tränen der Erinnerung, 1991), Sailor Galaxia in the final season of Sailor Moon (1997), Natoru in The Cat Returns (Das Königreich der Katzen, 2002), and Laki in the long-running series One Piece (2003). She also lent her voice to the character Rosie in the animated film A Bug's Life (Das große Krabbeln, 1998) and Agent K in the animated series Disneys Tauschrausch (since 2007).

Beyond anime, Susanne von Medvey is recognized for being the standard German dubbing voice for several prominent actresses. She has frequently dubbed the work of French actress Emmanuelle Béart in numerous films, including Mission: Impossible and Ein Herz im Winter. She is also widely known as the German voice of Lucy Lawless in the series Xena: Warrior Princess and its spin-offs, as well as for dubbing Jolene Blalock in her role as T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise and related Star Trek appearances. Her other notable dubbing credits include voicing Julia Ormond in Fräulein Smillas Gespür für Schnee, Michelle Forbes in Battlestar Galactica, and Anna Gunn as Skyler White in Breaking Bad. Her on-screen acting credits include appearances in television series such as Der Bulle von Tölz and SOKO Kitzbühel.
