Carlos Revilla was a distinguished Spanish voice actor and director, born Carlos Revilla González on 22 January 1933 in Salamanca, Spain. He began his artistic career at the age of twenty, leaving his medical studies to pursue acting, first in radio with the Cadena SER and later transitioning into dubbing in 1961. His professional life became closely tied to dubbing studios; he worked as artistic director at Tecnisón from its founding in 1975 until 1989, after which he continued his dual role as actor and director at Abaira. Revilla passed away on 28 September 2000 in Madrid due to a heart attack.
While Revilla is most widely recognized for his extensive work dubbing live-action film stars and television series, animation was a significant focus of his career, where his versatile vocal range was particularly showcased.
