Hiroyuki Amano is a Japanese comedian, actor, and voice actor born on March 24, 1970, in Okazaki, Aichi. He is a graduate of Nihon University's College of International Relations. Amano is widely known as one half of the comedic duo Kyaeen, which he formed with partner Udo Suzuki in 1991. In the duo, he performs the role of the tsukkomi, the straight man who corrects his partner's jokes. He is also referred to by the nickname Amanocchi. His career is managed by the Tokyo-based agency Asai Kikaku.
In addition to his extensive work in comedy and television presenting, Amano has built a career as a voice actor. One of his notable voice roles is as Yaemon Ishikawa, also known as Ishikawa Hachiemon, in the. Slump: Arale no Bikkuri Bān. In this film, he voices the character of a wise and caring former pirate who protects the Spring Spirits on Wonder Island.
