Hasso Billerbeck was a German actor and voice actor, born on June 8, 1940, in Frankfurt an der Oder. He passed away in January 2011 following a serious illness. While his primary career was as a distinguished stage actor, he was also active as a voice actor, primarily during the era of the German Democratic Republic.

Billerbeck's voice acting work included the role of the Professor, known as Lehrer in the German version, in the anime series Anja und die vier Jahreszeiten from 1980. This series is part of the Sekai Meisaku Dōwa anthology, confirming the specific role mentioned. His career in voice acting encompassed a wide range of international productions. He was the German voice for the title character in the Hungarian animated series Pom Pom and was repeatedly engaged to dub the American actor Frank Wolff. His other notable voice roles included the characters Zauberer Mrakomor in Der Prinz und der Abendstern and the Vogelscheuche in Das Geschenk des schwarzen Zauberers.

After the German reunification, Billerbeck chose to step back from voice acting. This decision was influenced by changes in the industry, which he felt introduced excessive time pressure and a shift towards recording actors individually rather than together as an ensemble.
