Dieter Jansen is a Dutch actor and voice actor, born in Amsterdam on September 17, 1969, who has built an extensive career spanning television, theater, and animation. He is particularly renowned for his prolific work in the Dutch dubbing industry, providing the official Dutch voices for a vast array of characters in internationally broadcast animated series and films.

Jansen's career in voice acting began in the late 1990s and 2000s, a period that saw a significant rise in the dubbing of foreign animation for Dutch audiences. He quickly became one of the most sought-after talents in the field. His voice is famously associated with the Dutch versions of numerous animated franchises. He is the voice of Jake in the children's series Tweenies and Boots the monkey in Dora the Explorer. For the Belgian-Dutch co-production The Smurfs, he voices multiple characters, including Jokey Smurf and Clumsy Smurf. His repertoire also includes Edd in Ed, Edd n Eddy, Chicken in Cow and Chicken, and Numbuh 2 in Codename: Kids Next Door.

In the realm of anime, Jansen has been the Dutch voice for several leading characters in popular series. Notably, he voices the protagonist Tyson Granger / Takao Kinomiya in the original Beyblade series and its sequel, Beyblade: V-Force. He also takes on the role of the antagonist Ryuga in Beyblade: Metal Fusion. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, he is the voice of the beloved character Joey Wheeler / Katsuya Jonouchi in both the 2000 series and the 2004 movie. Other significant anime credits include roles in Medabots as Spike, MegaMan NT Warrior as Count Zap and Wackoman, and multiple characters in the Dutch version of Pokémon, such as Eusine and Christopher. As specified, he also played the role of Enjyu in the series B-Legend! Battle Bedaman.

Beyond television, Jansen has voiced characters in major animated films, including Zini in Disney's Dinosaur, Mort in the Madagascar franchise, and M-O in WALL-E. His work extends to video games, where he provided the Dutch voice for George Weasley in several Harry Potter titles and was the voice of the educational software mascot RedCat.
