Paul Locklear

Paul Locklear is an American voice actor known for his work in English-language dubs of anime series and films. Based in Houston, Texas, he began his career as a stage actor before moving into voice acting for animation. His body of work, primarily from the late 1990s onward, includes a wide range of supporting and guest characters across numerous productions, often recorded for the anime distributor Sentai Filmworks.
Locklear's voice can be heard in many notable anime series. One of his earliest roles was as Cousin Brother in the 1999 film Gamera 3: The Revenge of Iris. In the early 2000s, he appeared in a variety of series, including RahXephon as Donny Wong, Kino's Journey in multiple roles, and as Yamato Kotobuki in Super GALS. He also provided voices for major titles such as Parasyte -the maxim- as Sasaki, and Chrono Crusade as Order Novice B.
He has taken on several recurring and named characters throughout his career. In the series Haikyu, he voiced the character Issei Matsukawa across multiple seasons, including Haikyu, Haikyu Second Season, and Haikyu To The Top. He also voiced Toko in Log Horizon and Frank Heinemann in Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse. In the Diamond Daydreams episode Sapporo: Saibara Shoko - Kohen, he is credited in the role of Uraoka.
