Mayu Amase is a Japanese voice actress, narrator, and singer born on May 26, 1979, in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in the year 2000. Her blood type is A. Amase was formerly affiliated with the talent agency Doa Production but later became a freelance artist.

Amase's body of work includes roles in anime television series and films. One of her notable roles is providing the voice for the character Suomi Kitano in the 2004 anime television series Diamond Daydreams, also known as Kita e.: Diamond Dust Drops. In addition to her voice acting role in the series, she also performed its opening theme song as part of the musical unit Five Spirits. Her other anime credits include voicing child characters in the long-running series Inuyasha (episode 147) and the associated special InuYasha: The Tragic Love Song of Destiny.

Beyond her work in anime, Amase has built a career as a narrator and voice-over artist. Her professional achievements include being a nominee for the SOVAS Voice Arts Awards in 2023.
