Sakurako Hoshino is the former stage name of Sakurako Kishiro, a Japanese voice actress born on July 30, 1961, in Shizuoka Prefecture. She began her voice acting career in the 1980s using this name, as she believed her real name was difficult for people to remember. She later reverted to using her maiden name, Sakurako Kishiro, professionally. Kishiro is a graduate of Toho Gakuen College of Music, where she majored in piano, a background that complements her artistic career. She is currently represented by the talent management firm Ken Production.

Under the name Sakurako Hoshino, she provided voices for numerous anime series and films throughout the 1980s and 1990s. A notable example of her work from this period is the role of Mocha in the 1985 original video animation Fairy Princess Minky Momo: La ronde in my dream.
