Brigitte Böttrich is a German actress and voice artist whose career spans stage, film, television, and extensive voice work in dubbing and audio dramas. Born in 1945 in Chemnitz, she completed her acting training at the Schauspielschule Genzmer in Wiesbaden from 1969 to 1971. Her early career was rooted in theatre, with engagements at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Nationaltheater Mannheim, among others.

While Böttrich is a familiar face from numerous German television productions, such as her long-running role as housekeeper Heidemarie Hoppe in the ZDF series Unser Charly, she has also built a significant career as a voice actor. In this capacity, she has lent her voice to various characters in international productions, including animation. Notably, her voice work encompasses several anime series dubbed into German. Her roles in this field include Fukunda, Kiyama, and Sanyo in Attack No. 1, the young Ryo Ishizaki in Captain Tsubasa (known in German as Die tollen Fußballstars), Midessa in Entaku no Kishi Monogatari: Moero Arthur, Bastien in Étoile de la Seine, and Mary Hudson in Sherlock Hound. She also voiced the character Beth in the anime The Yearling, which was the specific example referenced. Her other animation dubbing work includes providing a German voice for the character Rotznase in the series Die Schlümpfe.

Beyond her work in anime and animation, Böttrich's voice is widely recognized from German audio drama series.
