Aki Mizusawa is a Japanese actress, tarento, model, and singer who was born in Meguro, Tokyo on December 5, 1954. Her birth name is Akiko Tamei, and she is a graduate of the Japan Women's College of Physical Education, where she majored in dance. She began her entertainment career in 1972, making her acting debut in the television drama Natsu ni Kita Musume, and also launched a singing career the following year. She provided the voice for the role of Queen Phryne in the 1992 anime film version of Hashire Melos!, directed by Masaaki Osumi.
