Taizan 5 is a Japanese manga artist who began their professional career in 2020. The creator first gained attention by submitting the one-shot manga Hymn to the webcomic site Jump Rookie! in September 2020, where it won the Editor's Expectation Award for that month. Shortly after, in October 2020, their short story Dojin Seiji received an honorable mention in the politics category of the 100 million yen 40 Manga Award from Weekly Young Jump.
Following these early successes, Taizan 5 published several one-shot works on Shonen Jump+, including Hero Complex in February 2021 and Kiss Shitai Otoko in July 2021. In November 2022, Taizan 5 began serializing The Ichinose Family's Deadly Sins in Weekly Shonen Jump, which concluded in November 2023. In September 2022, Shonen Jump+ launched the Taizan 5 Manga Award, a contest for which the creator served as a special judge. In July 2024, Taizan 5 published a short work titled Hanareta Futari, which was created specifically to accompany a song by the music group YOASOBI.
An anime adaptation of Takopi's Original Sin was produced by the studio Enishiya and directed by Shinya Iino. The series aired in the summer of 2025 as a compact six-episode run.
