Yone Sawata is a Japanese manga artist best known as the creator of the manga series Acro Trip. Sawata wrote and illustrated Acro Trip, which was serialized in Shueisha’s shōjo manga magazine Ribon. The series ran from February 2017 to December 2022 and marked Sawata’s first serialized work. The chapters were collected into five tankōbon volumes, released between April 2018 and January 2023.

Acro Trip is a comedy that follows a young girl who becomes an assistant to a bumbling villain in an effort to make her favorite magical girl shine. The series gained enough recognition to receive an anime television adaptation, which was announced in December 2022 and premiered in October 2024. The adaptation was produced by the animation studio Voil. In addition to the original serialization, a short revival of the manga was published in Ribon starting in October 2024 to commemorate the anime’s premiere.
