Julie McWhirter is a retired American voice actress and impressionist, active in her field from 1970 to 1993, who provided voices for English adaptations of several anime series. She graduated from DePauw University in 1970 with a degree in speech and studied acting and improvisational comedy under Howard Storm and Charles Conrad.

McWhirter's most prominent role in anime was as the title character in the English dub of the 1978 Japanese animated series The Adventures of the Little Prince. She was the first voice actor for the Little Prince in this adaptation, providing her voice for all 26 English-dubbed episodes produced by Jambre Productions. Her other work in anime includes providing the English dub voice for the character Brigitte and a neighbor lady in The Story of Heidi in 1974. She also voiced the character Kanga in the animated short Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore, taking over the role from Barbara Luddy.

In addition to her work in anime, McWhirter built a substantial career voicing characters for numerous American animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera and other studios. She is perhaps best known for providing the voice of the title character in the animated series Jeannie and Bubbles in Jabberjaw. She also had long-running roles as Baby Smurf and Sassette in The Smurfs, as well as voicing Huckleberry Pie in several Strawberry Shortcake specials during the 1980s. Her other notable credits include Casper in Casper and the Angels, Vampira in Drak Pack, Amanda Panda in Pandamonium, Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, and Wilma Slaghoople in The Flintstone Kids.

Beyond voice acting, McWhirter worked as an impressionist and host, appearing as a guest on various talk and game shows. She was one of the hosts of the 1977 sketch comedy series Wacko. She also dubbed the singing voice for the character Blousey Brown in the film Bugsy Malone and made her stage debut as Eliza Doolittle in a production of My Fair Lady.
