Margherita Sestito is an Italian actress and voice actress, born on May 21, 1953, in Naples, Italy. Her career spans both on-screen performances and extensive work in dubbing foreign productions for the Italian audience. As an actress, she appeared in films such as Bianca (1984), directed by Nanni Moretti, and television series including Delitto in via Teulada (1980) and Camilla, parlami d'amore (1992). In addition to her work in front of the camera, she has also taken on roles in theater and other television programs.
Sestito is perhaps best known for her prolific career as a voice actress. In the realm of anime, she is recognized for providing the first Italian voice for the character Sonya, known in the original Japanese as Megumi Oka, in the series Vultus 5 (Voltes V). Her other notable anime roles include being the second voice of Miss Dronio in Yattaman, voicing Morticia Addams in the Italian dubbing of La famiglia Addams, and Kira Tesawa in La regina dei mille anni.
Beyond animation, a significant portion of her dubbing work has been for live-action television, particularly soap operas and telenovelas.
