Leda Celani was an Italian actress and voice artist known for her extensive work in theatre, radio, television, and dubbing. Born in Milan on June 22, 1925, she began her artistic training at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan, from which she graduated in 1948. Her career started in radio, where she became a member of the Compagnia di Prosa di Radio Milano, working under the direction of E. Ferrieri in productions like the Blues di Williams in 1949. She also gained popularity for her role as Flo in the radio variety show La signora Cipriana. Her radio work extended to the Radio Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.
Celani built a significant career on stage, performing with numerous prominent theatre companies. Her early work included productions at the Teatro Manzoni and the Teatrino della Fiera in Milan. In the summer of 1957, she joined the Compagnia del Teatro milanese, performing in works by authors such as Guicciardi, Illica, and Bertolazzi. Her long association with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano included roles in Il signor Bonaventura, El nost Milan (in both the 1963 and 1979 productions), and Il tempo stringe in 1988. From 1989 onwards, she was active with the Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, appearing in productions like Anni di piombo, Libertà a Brema, Medea, and Sarto per signora. She also appeared in television dramas, including Lo scialle and Piccolo mondo antico.

Her most recognized role in animation is the voice of Cesira, a kind hen and mother figure to the protagonist, in the 1974 anime series Calimero.
