Rino Bolognesi was an Italian actor and voice actor, born on August 14, 1932. He is particularly renowned for his extensive work in dubbing, providing the Italian voices for numerous characters in live-action films and television series, as well as in animated programs and anime. His career also included roles as a film actor, dialogue director, and author.

Bolognesi's voice became well-known to Italian audiences through his dubbing of iconic characters. He was the Italian voice of Adam West's Bruce Wayne in the television series Batman and voiced the title character in The Incredible Hulk. His film dubbing credits span a wide range, including voices for actors in productions such as Hot Shots!, Good Night, and Good Luck., and Rocky Balboa.

In the realm of animation and anime, Rino Bolognesi is prominently remembered for his multifaceted role in the first two seasons of the anime series Star Blazers, known in Italy as Star Blazers or I guerrieri delle stelle. In this series, he lent his voice to three distinct characters: the antagonist Supremo Desslock, the character Sandor, and the series narrator. This performance is considered one of his most significant contributions to anime dubbing. He also provided voices for numerous other animated series, including roles as the narrator and various secondary characters in The Monkey, the narrator and Teppei Matsuki in Arrivano i Superboys, Kinoshita in L'invincibile robot Trider G7, and characters in series like Holly e Benji - Due fuoriclasse, Il Tulipano Nero, and Gaiking il robot guerriero. His work extended to western animation as well, voicing characters such as Shere Khan in TaleSpin, Dr. Benton Quest in Le avventure di Jonny Quest, and Captain Blue in Capitan Scarlet.

Beyond performing, Bolognesi was also active behind the scenes. He founded his own dubbing company and directed many dubbing projects. His career in the arts also included authoring an autobiography titled Un Itagliano qualunque and another book, La dissacra Bibbia, as well as producing documentaries. Rino Bolognesi passed away in Rome on March 19, 2020, at the age of 87.
