Susan Sheridan was a British voice actress known for her work in children's television, animation, and radio, including several English-language adaptations of Japanese anime series. Born Susan Haydn Thomas on March 18, 1947, in Newcastle, England, she trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her career, spanning several decades, included notable roles in anime dubs produced for the UK market.

In the realm of anime, Sheridan provided voices for English-language versions of various series and films. She voiced the character Shu in the English version of the anime film Fire Tripper. She also played the role of Towa in the English adaptation of the Mermaid Forest original video animation. Other anime credits include providing the voice for the title character, Moomin, in the English dub of the 1990 TV series Moomin, and voicing Michael in the British English dub of the Lupin the Third special, Lupin the 3rd: Bye Bye, Lady Liberty.

Beyond her anime work, Sheridan was an established voice artist with a wide range of credits. She was the original voice of Trillian in the BBC radio series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a role she later reprised. She also voiced Princess Eilonwy in the Disney animated film The Black Cauldron, and was known to generations of British children as the voice of Noddy in Noddy's Toyland Adventures. Her work extended to other animated series such as The Family-Ness, Jimbo and the Jet-Set, and providing numerous character voices for projects like The Beano Video.
