Camille Chen

Description
Camille Chen is a Taiwanese-born American actress whose career began in the late 1990s with voiceover work for English adaptations of anime series. Born on September 1, 1979, in Taiwan and raised in the United States, she studied theater at the University of Texas at Austin before entering show business. While she has built a diverse career spanning film, television, and commercials, her early professional experience included providing voices for several anime titles.

Chen's anime voice acting credits are documented from this early period of her career. One of her first roles was as Nina Mercury and a Little Girl in the 1997 English version of the science fiction series Lost Universe. She followed this with a role as Kazumi Takiura in the 1998 series Devil Lady, an adaptation of the Go Nagai manga. In 1999, she voiced the character Elisiss in Eden's Bowy. Her voice credits from this era also include the role of Fino in the 2002 series Jing: King of Bandits.

In the English adaptation of the original video animation, Chen is credited with providing the voice for the character Tsukasa Tomii.

Following this concentrated period of voice acting, Chen's career trajectory moved primarily toward on-camera roles in live-action television and film. She gained recognition for a recurring role on the series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and received critical praise for her performance in the feature film Game Night. As her focus shifted to live-action projects and a significant number of commercial campaigns, there is no readily available information indicating recurring collaborations with specific anime directors, studios, or fellow voice actors beyond her early credits. Her notable achievements are widely associated with her later live-action work rather than her anime voice performances.
