Masaru Hachinohe is a Japanese voice actor and narrator from Aomori Prefecture, born on October 16, 1973. After graduating from high school, he pursued his childhood dream of becoming a voice actor by enrolling in the voice actor department at Tokyo Animator College. Upon completing his studies, he joined the talent management firm Oizawa Office and has since been affiliated with Herringbone.
His career encompasses both voice acting for animated works and narration. In the 1990s, he was active in anime, foreign film dubbing, and audio dramas, while also performing in stage productions. He gained significant experience as a narrator by working on the sports corner of the TBS morning information program Ohayou Kujira for one year starting in 1998. This led to his selection as the regular narrator for the sports segment on the prestigious news program News23, a position he held for ten years. His narration work, characterized as a sincere and gentle style capable of handling everything from light entertainment to serious documentaries, has earned him trust in numerous commercials and corporate videos.
