Massimo Foschi is an Italian actor and voice actor born on January 2, 1938, in Forlì, Italy. He trained at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome, studying under Orazio Costa, and began his career in the 1960s, establishing himself in theatre, cinema, and dubbing. His son, Marco Foschi, born in 1977, also became an actor and voice actor.

In the realm of anime and animation, Foschi has contributed his voice to the Italian-language versions of several productions. He is the narrator for the original video animation series Violence Jack, a role he performed in Violence Jack, Violence Jack 2, and Violence Jack 3. His other anime voice roles include General Boscorn in the film Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II - The Battle for Doldrey and the Plenipotentiary of the Gaia Sanctuary in the film Harlock: Space Pirate, also known as Capitan Harlock 3D.

Beyond his work in animation, Foschi is a highly prominent figure in Italian dubbing, best known as the official Italian voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars film franchise.
