Tom Charles

Description
Tom Charles is a professional name used by American voice actor Tom Fahn, who has lent his voice to numerous English-language adaptations of Japanese anime series and other projects. He is known for his work in the industry dating back to the early 1990s, often appearing in dubs produced in Los Angeles. Fahn comes from a family with deep ties to voice acting; his siblings Jonathan Fahn and Melissa Fahn, as well as his wife Dorothy Elias-Fahn, are also well-established voice actors, leading to frequent family collaborations on various projects.

Under the name Tom Charles, he provided the voice for the lead character Kei Katsuragi in the English dub of the classic mecha anime series The Super Dimension Century Orguss. This dub was produced by U.S. Renditions and L.A. Hero for its initial VHS release in the early 1990s. He is perhaps most recognized for his role as the protagonist Sho Fukamachi, who transforms into the titular bio-boosted armor known as the Guyver, in The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor. He was credited as Tom Charles for this performance in the English adaptation of that series. Another notable role from this era is his portrayal of the tragic scientist Franken Von Folger in the acclaimed OVA series Giant Robo: The Night the Earth Stood Still, appearing in the Manga Entertainment dub.

Beyond these roles, Fahn's career as a voice actor is extensive. He is widely known for voicing the character Agumon in the Digimon franchise, a role he has reprised across multiple series and films. His other anime credits include characters in popular shows such as Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, Hunter × Hunter, and One Punch Man. Fahn's work has also extended into live-action television, where he provided additional voices for various Power Rangers series, including Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Turbo, and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. This body of work demonstrates his versatility and long-standing presence in the field of voice acting.
