Michael Brady
Description
Michael Brady is an American voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime during the 1990s, primarily associated with recordings done in North Carolina. He is frequently connected to Coastal Carolina Sound Studios, now known as Coastal Studios, where many dubs for companies like AnimEigo were produced. A distinction exists between him and a different Michael Brady who worked as a music producer for 4Kids Entertainment.
Brady's career is marked by several prominent roles in animated projects from that era. He provided the voice for the title character, Joe, in the AnimEigo English dub of the 1983 science fiction film Crusher Joe: The Movie. He reprised this role for the two-part original video animation series, Crusher Joe: The OVAs. His other notable work includes the role of Takuma Zenshuuin in the Media Blasters English dub of the fantasy OVA Elf Princess Rane, which was directed by Scott Houle and also featured voice actress Juliet Cesario. He is also credited as the voice of Yusuke Kato in the OVA series Marriage.
In addition to these roles, Michael Brady's voice can be heard in other English dubs of the period. His credits include providing voices for the series Blue Submarine No.6, where he voiced characters such as Beast D and an Engineer, and for CLAMP School Detectives, in which he played Guy and a Husband.
