Chiaki Maeda is a Japanese voice actress from Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, born on March 17, 1970. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. Her current stage name is a simplified rendition of her birth name, which uses different characters but maintains the same pronunciation. Maeda is a graduate of several performing arts institutions, including the Junior College Division of Mukogawa Women's University, the first intake of the Haikyo Voice Actors Studio, and the 11th class of the Aoni Juku Osaka school.

Maeda's career began in the mid-1990s, and she has built a substantial portfolio of roles across animation and video games. In television anime, her work includes a wide range of characters, such as the many roles she played in GeGeGe no Kitaro (Fourth Series) including Hotaru, various characters in the Doraemon (大山羡代版) series like the Mana Chair, and the role of Izumi in Crayon Shin-chan. She is also recognized for her performance as Maki Tanabe in Gunparade March and the character Chawoo in the 2002 series Petite Princess Yucie.

Her contributions to video games are equally extensive. Maeda is likely best known by gamers for her role as Kaedeko Sakura in the popular dating sim Tokimeki Memorial 2. Other notable game credits include the titular marionette in Marionette Company, Lammy in Summon Night 2, and multiple characters in Rune Factory 3, such as Monica and Aisha Harapenyo Vivianio. She has also lent her voice to characters in pachislot machines and provided Japanese dubbing for foreign dramas, including a role in the Japanese-language version of NCIS as Ziva David. Beyond voice work, her skills as a narrator have been utilized for television programs.
