Brady Bluhm

Description
Brady Bluhm is an American actor and voice actor recognized for his work in film and television during the 1990s, with a notable contribution to English-language dubs of Japanese anime. Born on July 6, 1983, in San Bernardino County, California, he began his career as a child actor, appearing in numerous live-action television series such as Doogie Howser, M.D., Empty Nest, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Star Trek: Voyager. He gained early film recognition for his role as Billy in the comedy Dumb and Dumber.

Bluhm's most prominent work in anime voice acting came with the 1997 Japanese animated film The Dog of Flanders, an adaptation of the classic novel by Ouida. In this feature-length production, directed by Yoshio Kuroda, Bluhm provided the English voice for the protagonist, Nello, a poor but artistically gifted orphan boy living in 19th-century Flanders. His performance as the tragic and hardworking Nello was noted for its emotional depth. The film also featured an English cast that included veteran actors Robert Loggia and Sean Young, as well as fellow voice actor Debi Derryberry, who voiced the young Alois.

Beyond The Dog of Flanders, Bluhm's voice acting career is most significantly tied to the role of Christopher Robin in several Winnie the Pooh animated productions from Disney. He first voiced the character in the 1997 video release Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin. He reprised this role in subsequent projects, including the 1998 television special A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving and the 1999 videos Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving and Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine for You. His work as Christopher Robin also extended into video games, such as Tigger's Honey Hunt.

After a period focused on voice acting, Bluhm returned to live-action roles in the 2010s, notably reprising his character Billy in the sequel Dumb and Dumber To.
