Bram Bart was a Dutch voice actor, born Abraham Johannes Aloysius Maria Bart on April 23, 1962, in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. He studied at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 1989, which launched his career in performance. Bart became widely recognized for his work in dubbing foreign television series and films into Dutch, providing voices for numerous animated characters.
His extensive voice work included being the official Dutch voice for the title character in the children's series Bob the Builder, known as Bob de Bouwer in the Netherlands. He was also the voice of James and Gary Oak in the Dutch-language version of the popular anime series Pokémon. Other notable roles included Daggett (Boris) in The Angry Beavers, Raphino in Ratz, Mojo Jojo in The Powerpuff Girls, and various characters in Shin Chan, such as Mister Enzo. His portfolio extended to providing the Dutch voice for Paddington Bear and voicing Pliekie in Lilo & Stitch.
Beyond animation, Bart was active as a voice-over artist for commercials and served as the Dutch voice for the TomTom navigation system and the Disney XD channel. He also had a career in theatre, being associated with companies like Toneelgroep De Appel, and appeared in Dutch television series such as Vrouwenvleugel, Keyzer & De Boer Advocaten, and Spangen.
