Hiroshi Izawa is the stage name of Toshihisa Izawa, a Japanese actor, voice actor, and director born in Tokyo on September 4, 1955. He began his career on stage, joining the theater company Theater Echo in 1979 and remaining with them through 1988. This theatrical foundation has remained a significant part of his professional life; he is the director of his own theatrical troupe, Big Face.

His voice acting credits, while not extensive, include several notable animated films from the 1980s. One of his earliest roles in anime was as an announcer in the 1983 film Urusei Yatsura Movie 1: Only You, directed by Mamoru Oshii. In 1987, he voiced the character Darigan in the landmark Gainax animated film Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise. His other anime credits include roles in the television series High School! Kimengumi and the film 11 Piki no Neko.

Beyond anime, Izawa has had a substantial career in other performance media. He is known for his work in tokusatsu, the live-action special effects genre, most notably as the villain Mettzler in the 1984 series Choudenshi Bioman. He has also appeared in numerous live-action television dramas, such as Gokusen, and has had a prolific career as a narrator and actor in commercials for major Japanese companies including Casio, Suntory, Toyota, and NTT Docomo.
