Chris Turner

Description
Chris Turner is a Canadian voice actor and on-screen actor, recognized for his contributions to English-dubbed anime and animated series throughout the 1990s. Born in British Columbia, Canada, his career encompassed a range of voice work in both television and video productions.

Turner's anime voice acting credits include several prominent series from the late 1980s and 1990s. One of his notable roles was providing the voice of Yuli (Ully in some adaptations) in the series Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, also known as Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers. His other anime work included roles in popular series such as Ranma ½, where he voiced Yotaro, and in Please Save My Earth, as Rin Kobayashi. He also contributed additional voices to projects like Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle and the Green Legend Ran series.

Beyond these specific credits, Turner had a significant presence in English-dubbed animation produced in Canada. He is perhaps best known for his role as the voice of Miles "Tails" Prower in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. Notably, he took over the role from the original actor and, like his predecessor, voiced the character at the age of ten. His other voice credits from this era include roles in Mummies Alive!, G.I. Joe Extreme, Mega Man, and Hurricanes.

In addition to his voice work, Turner also appeared in live-action roles, with credits including the television series Psych and the family film Air Bud. He also worked in the casting department for reality competition series in the early 2020s, such as Lego Masters and Cannonball.
