Nicole Tieri is an American singer and actress known for her work in musical theater and her appearance on the television show American Idol. Her involvement in anime voice acting is limited to a single, notable role early in her career. Before gaining wider recognition, she provided the English voice for the character Akane Aikawa in the anime series Magic User's Club. Tieri voiced the role for the original video animation series and the first half of the television series, which were dubbed by NYAV Post in 2001 and 2002. This role stands as her primary credit in the field of anime voice acting.

Tieri pursued studies in musical theater and child advocacy at New York University, holding a full scholarship. Her career path subsequently led her to mainstream prominence as a contestant on the third season of American Idol in 2004, where her arrival at auditions on a kick scooter earned her the nickname Scooter Girl. Following her time on the show, her professional activities centered on musical theater, including performing at the Sight and Sound theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and on her career as a singer, which included the release of an album titled Tales From Magnolia Drive.
