José Manuel Vieira is a Venezuelan actor renowned for his extensive work in Latin American dubbing, particularly in anime, animated series, and live-action television. He was born on July 26, 1961, in Caracas, Venezuela. He is a licensed social communicator and also has a significant career as a sportscaster and theater actor. Vieira entered the world of dubbing thanks to Lilo Schmid, who discovered him during a theater rehearsal. In 2019, he relocated to Sabadell, Barcelona, Spain, where he continues to work in dubbing remotely.

Vieira is perhaps best known for his leading roles in several iconic anime series. He is most recognized as the voice of Edward Elric in both the original Fullmetal Alchemist and its reboot, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, for the Latin American Spanish dubs. Another prominent role is that of the vampire Alucard in Hellsing. He has also voiced characters such as Rezo the Red Priest in Slayers and its sequel Slayers Next, Crim in.hack//SIGN, and Ukyo in Samurai 7.
