Traci Dinwiddie
Description
Traci Dinwiddie is an American actress and voice actor, born on December 22, 1973, in Anchorage, Alaska. Her entry into voice acting began at the age of sixteen when she landed her first role in a Japanese anime production. This early start led to a series of voice roles in English adaptations of Japanese original video animations (OVAs) throughout the 1990s.
Dinwiddie's voice work from this period includes the role of Reiko Takagi in the 1995 OVA Sailor Victory. That same year, she provided the voice for Shizuka in the video release of Marriage. In 1996, she voiced Yoshiko Sakakibara in the OVA Shinesman. The following year, she took on the role of Vega in the OVA Princess Rouge. From 1997 to 1998, she voiced Rebecca Sweet-Hauzen in the television series Voogie's Angel. Her credits from this era also include the role of Frida in Blue Submarine No. 6 (1998), Elvira in Earthian (1989), and Yoko Kuroda in the You're Under Arrest Specials.
While her voice acting career was most active during the 1990s and early 2000s, Dinwiddie continued to work extensively in live-action film and television. She is widely recognized for her role as the psychic Pamela Barnes in the long-running series Supernatural, appearing in multiple episodes from 2008 to 2010 and again in 2019. She also played Regina in the eighth and ninth seasons of The Walking Dead from 2017 to 2018. Her live-action film credits include roles in The Notebook, Mr. Brooks, and Elena Undone. She returned to voice acting for a web series in 2012, playing various roles in Zombies VS. Ninjas: The Web Series. For her performance in the short film Open Your Eyes, she won the Best Actress award at the Method Fest in 2009.
