Maddalena Kerrh is a German actress and voice actress born on October 11, 1938, in Schwerte, Germany. Her career began with training as a gymnastics teacher before she took acting lessons, which led to her involvement in theater. In 1968, she co-founded the Off-Off-Theater in Munich with Kelle Riedl and was actively involved in running the theater, writing plays, and establishing a children's and youth stage.

In the realm of anime, Kerrh is known for providing the German voice for the character Shige Yamano, the grandmother in the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbors the Yamadas from 1999. She also voiced the character Madam Suliman in the German dubbing of another Studio Ghibli film, Howl's Moving Castle.

Beyond these specific anime roles, Kerrh had an extensive and varied career as a voice actress, lending her voice to numerous international stars in film and television. Her dubbing work included actresses such as Bette Davis, Catherine Deneuve, Farrah Fawcett, and Cloris Leachman.
