Marie Vincent

Description
Marie Vincent is a French actress whose career spans theatre, television, film, and voice work. She is well-known to French audiences for her extensive voice dubbing, particularly as the voice of Fran Drescher in the long-running series The Nanny, and for her roles in popular television series.

Vincent was trained at the Conservatoire de Paris and the École de la Rue Blanche. Her early career was rooted in theatre, where she performed in classic plays by Molière, Goldoni, and Marivaux. She later directed the cultural centre in Garches and spent six years working at Le Lucernaire theatre in Paris. Her stage work has seen her perform under the direction of notable figures such as Nicolas Bataille, Pierre Jolivet, and Daniel Gélin, and appear alongside actors like Jacques Villeret, Francis Perrin, and Daniel Russo. In 2004, her performance in the play Comme en 14! earned her the Molière Award for Best Theatrical Revelation, and she received another Molière nomination the following year for her role in The Imaginary Invalid.

While Vincent has appeared in films such as Subway and La Horde, she is particularly prominent in French dubbing. Her voice is perhaps most famously associated with American actress Fran Drescher, whom she has dubbed in The Nanny and other roles. She is also the regular French voice for Demi Moore and has dubbed numerous other actresses, including Kirstie Alley, Holly Hunter, and Courtney Love.

In animation, she provided the French voice for the character Matsuko in the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbors the Yamadas, which was released in 1999. Her other animation dubbing work includes roles in films such as Volt: Star Malgré Lui and 101 Dalmatians.

On French television, Vincent has been a familiar face since the 2000s. She held main roles in the series Le Réveillon des bonnes, Vive les vacances, and Domisiladoré. Since 2012, she has been part of the main cast of the long-running M6 comedy series En Famille, playing the role of Brigitte le Kervellec.
