Mimi J. Woods is a former American voice actress primarily known for her work in English dubs of Japanese anime series and films during the 1980s and 1990s. Based in Los Angeles, she was active in the voice-over industry for over a decade before retiring from acting. In addition to her work under the name Mimi J. Woods, she was also credited in some productions as Mimi J. Davies and M.J. Davis.

Woods is best known for providing the English voice of Major Motoko Kusanagi in the original 1995 film Ghost in the Shell, a landmark anime feature, as well as its related video game adaptation. This role is considered her most iconic and is frequently cited as a highlight of her career. Another notable role was her performance as Nastasha in the 1992 anime series Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: The Movie, for which she was credited as Mimi Davies.

Her other voice acting credits include a range of characters in English adaptations of popular anime from that era. She voiced Shayla-Shayla in the various El Hazard series and films, Ripple in The Super Dimension Century Orguss, Lahrri Fernando in Battle Athletes Victory, and Ruriko Asakaga in Phantom Quest Corp.. She also contributed voices to films such as Wings of Honneamise and provided the voice of Battia in the L.A. Hero dub of Outlanders.

Throughout her career, Woods frequently worked with a consistent group of fellow voice actors and directors in the Los Angeles dubbing community. She collaborated on numerous projects with actors such as Steve Blum, Dougary Grant, and Debra Jean Rogers.

Woods retired from acting some time after her last confirmed voice-over role, which was in the English version of the 2000 video game The Bouncer. In a unique tribute, she voiced a television news anchor character in the game's opening cinematic who was named after her. Fellow voice actress Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who later took on the role of Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, has confirmed that Woods moved away from Los Angeles, marking her departure from the industry.
